How to Start a Digital Marketing Agency: Beginners Guide

What's up, guys! Today, I want to share with you, how to start a digital marketing agency. I want to start from my first tip. It's to focus on one thing. I know, it's essential because I see when entrepreneurs try to cover a lot of things with limited resources, especially if you start from scratch, if you have no money to invest into many things. Just do one thing. The biggest mistake that I see is when others try to steal their competitors’ methods. Perhaps these competitors have this money, they have resources to cover a lot of other stuff.
But if you have no money, if you are alone, just focus on one thing, where you can be the best. For example, I pay my attention to LinkedIn promotions, where I can get customers, when I get sales, and I create breath awareness there. I don't need any help to promote my LinkedIn account, where I get over 50,000 followers in three months. Choose your direction. You can start on LinkedIn or Twitter or Facebook, but I recommend you to go to LinkedIn because today, LinkedIn has a high level of engagement. This engagement is much more than on Facebook or Instagram because only 3 million people post on LinkedIn from 675 million users. The rest of users continue publishing on Facebook. Yep, it's a big chance to get a lot of followers, sales, and leads on LinkedIn. Choose your direction, but don't try to cover everything. For example, I have no time to write my blog posts. I submitted some blogs, but I know that I have no resources to cover my blog, to cover my YouTube channel, LinkedIn. That's why I decided to take one thing, where I can be the best. That's why I am on LinkedIn. And of course, I create some videos for YouTube. It helps me to grow. But I see when other agencies try to cover blog, LinkedIn, Facebook with limited resources, they can't get everything because you can't go ahead with limited resources.

Okay, we will go to my next tip. My next tip is to show your face everywhere when it's possible. If you open About Me page, you will see again my name and my face. If you open my blog, yep, I share it everywhere when it's possible. And if you go to my YouTube channel, you will see a lot of my faces as well on these thumbnails. Why I do it? Because people want to cooperate with humans. They don't want to cooperate your brand, with ghosts. They will need your face. And it helps to increase the level of trust. If you open my LinkedIn, you'll see again, a lot of my faces and real information about me. Submit everything about you, share your story. For example, I did it on the About Me page, where I share my story, how I started my marketing career, and how I can help others to get results by using marketing methods. Why it's essential to use marketing today? Because we know all people are online. Yep, just share your personal story, your photos. Go to some places where you can create high quality photos. It's essential, you know, to show that you're professional. And when you submit all this information about you, the next step is to bring value. It's essential because I see that many of us try to sell from the first day, when they launched their SEO agency. It doesn't work like this because people will not get value first. For example, you can see on my website, I have the page My Services, but I submitted this page only A few months ago. before this, I created a lot of info content for my YouTube channel, for my blog. For example, if you open my blog, you can't see my services in any places because I just bring value, I share this value, I help people. People have the feeling of guilt. If you help them for free, they want to give you something back. They can share your content, they can buy your products, especially today, when they have this though time, it's better to pay attention with bringing value first. For example, if you open my LinkedIn and check out all my posts, you can see that I don't try to sell anything. I just share some information about marketing, even some personal pictures, photos, videos, and just try to help others to choose the right direction. And it helps to create brand awareness and people reach out to me, webmasters reach out to me and ask about getting my service. You know, I don't sell anything. It's a big mistake today to try to sell because 70% of customers don't buy from unrecognizable brands. You need to bring your value first. When they see your content, where you give a lot of valuable advice, and after this, they will order your service.
And the next thing that I can recommend you, choose some companies on LinkedIn and comment all their posts. For example, if you want to cooperate with Coca Cola, or Tesla, or any other companies-- Oh no, don't touch Tesla because Elon Musk told that he doesn't pay for marketing. Choose other companies and comment all their posts. You don't need to ask them, "Please give me a job. I need this job." No way! It doesn't work. Bring value to their posts and send them some information how you can help them to grow, find their mistakes. For example, if you are marketer, you know that perhaps you can fix their titles, or some information, or rewrite some content, bring it for free. If you bring some available information for free, they will order your service. That's it. Nothing special. Just choose companies, 10 companies, 20 companies and comment all their posts and tell them what they need to do to fix their problems. When you show that you want to help them to grow, when you want to help them for free, they will order your service. It doesn't take a few days. Sometimes it takes a few months. You need to do it, to comment all their posts, to send a lot of documents. But if you want to get big contracts, I don't want to tell about some small payments, one-time payment, I want to tell you that you want to get huge money. Yep, that's why you need to bring this value first. And yep, it helps you to grow.

Okay guys, that's it for today. Ask me any questions in the comments section. I will reply to all of them. I can help you and lead you to the right direction in this marketing field.
