NameCheap: How to Buy Domain Name (Step by Step Tutorial)

NameCheap offers a variety of domain names at a really good price and they are incredibly easy to use. If you're thinking about creating a website you will need to get a domain name first. You can find a link here and Let's get started.

Domain name is also known as the web address or the URL of the website. You will need to think about a unique address for your website and enter the domain name in this search bar right here. This will search for the availability of the domain name. Do take note that domain names that ends with .com are the most commonly used option for websites. However if you're running a tech related business dot io and dot ai are some popular choices of domain name extensions that you can consider to use.
First, you will need to find out if the domain name that you want is available to you. To do that, you need to input the full keywords of your domain name in the search bar. You can search with or without the domain name extension. For this demo, I'll use the .XYZ domain name extension to walk you through the checkout process. Let's go with youtubedemo.xyz and click on the search button. It will lead you to a new page with a list of different domain names extensions and prices that you can choose from. If a domain name is unavailable to you it will look something like this that says taken or registered. For my case, youtubedemo.com is not available to me.

So let's go back to the previous domain name, Youtubedemo.xyz, to complete my purchase simply click on "add to cart", "view item" and "checkout". What you need to do here is to choose how long you intend to use this domain name for. You can choose your own domain name for three years at a time or more this is entirely up to you. Then click on "confirm order". Remember to review your card and fill your purchase information to complete your checkout.

In namecheap Cname record enter www in host field enter ghs.google.com in value field. Similarly do it for second Cname record. Click Save button. For us it took less than one minute to save settings. in general it will take 24 to 48 hours to set domain in blogger.

Next we are going to view the block. Https is not yet set for custom domain. So, Return to blog settings enable https availability. Wait for some minutes and reload the blogger. Check https redirect was also enabled automatically. For us it took 5 minutes. Next we are going to redirect our naked domain musicnotationsoftware.online to www.musicnotationsoftware.online. Though, it is optional we recommend to do it because sometimes it is also considered in Search Engine Optimization. Add new record and choose A record. In host field enter @ and in IP address field enter first Google IP address. Procedure is same for other three Google IPs. Return to blogger settings. Enable redirect domain which will redirect musicntationsoftware.online to www.musicnotationsoftware.online.

Top 5 Domain and Web Hosting Service Provider

Here, we would like to share the best 5 domain hosting seller agencies of the present time. Ok, let us tell you their name first.

The first one is Hostinger, next Namecheap and then Hostgator. Next one is GoDaddy and the fifth one is Bluehost. We have used all of the five hosting companies services and we found no negative issues from them. That is why we are recommending them. If you are looking for a quality hosting service in lowest cost, We would suggest you to go for

hostinger or Namecheap. If you are a beginner and looking forward to build your first web site then you can purchase share hosting plan. However, in case of established business company’s website, it is better to go for dedicated server hosting which is a bit costly and advanced option.

The interesting fact is that we can purchase domain name and hosting packages from the same place. If we want to purchase domain from one place and hosting from another place we can also do that there is no problem.

Namecheap: How to set up Free Email Forwarding

We are going to show you how to set up Free Email Forwarding for your domain. This service allows you to create virtual mailboxes for automatically sending emails on to other email addresses. However, please note that it doesn’t allow you to create fully-featured email accounts, able to send outgoing emails. It’s just a virtual email address for forwarding. Please also keep in mind that this service is currently only available for domains pointed to our BasicDNS, FreeDNS, or PremiumDNS. So make sure your domain is using one of these DNS services before getting started.

So, to start, sign in to your Namecheap account. Then just navigate to the 'Domain List' tab. You’ll see the list of your domains. To continue, click on the 'Manage' button next to your domain. You will see your domain’s control panel. Next, just open the 'Advanced DNS' tab over on the right. Scroll down to the 'Mail Settings' section, and in the drop-down menu, select the 'Email Forwarding' service for your domain. Then click ‘Save all changes’. Now for the most important part: creating your forwarding email address. You’ll need to go back to the 'Domain' tab of your control panel for this. Scroll down to the 'Redirect Email' section and click on the 'Add Forwarder' button. Fill in both the ‘Alias’ and ‘Forward to’ fields. Just in case you didn’t know, your ‘Alias’ is the name of your forwarding mailbox. So, let’s create this email address as contact@nctest.info. Which means your 'Alias' is simply ‘contact’. Now you can just forward emails sent to this address to any other valid email address you like.

For this example, let’s go with example@mail.com. To save the changes, just click on the checkmark icon. And that’s it! It might take about an hour for your virtual mailbox to be created on the server. After that, all emails will be forwarded to the address specified in the 'Forward to' field. We also have a ‘Catch-All’ option that allows you to receive emails sent to a misspelled address, alongside the forwarding rule we just set up. You can simply create this on the same page. To start, click on the ‘Add catch all’ button. Then, enter your own destination email address in the 'Forward to' field and click on the checkmark to save the changes. And it’s done! As before, you might need to wait for about an hour for the email forwarding to start working.
